Comment on Affiliate Marketing vs AdSense? (Part 1) by Douglas Wade

Hi, This is Douglas Wade

My personal experience with affiliate programs is that the free to join ones are the best performers.

Anyone with much experience will tend to stay away from anything that you have to invest a lot of money in to stay in the program.

Whenever I look at a new program, If there are more than one step which requires me to spend money to upgrade or stay in the program, I RUN, Very Fast!

There are many good programs out there and some have reasonable costs associated with them, but if you are new to the game, it is best to stick with the free ones until you can better research and judge for yourself whether an offer is really as good as it's hyped up to be.

If you take your time getting started and don't get depressed because your first Great Venture doesn't take off right away, you'll do alright.

If you are looking for a good free program to check into, check my blog at http://myworkathomebiz.douglaswademedia.com once in awhile and I will start putting a section related to affs in there soon.

Well NewMoola,
Best wishes on your ventures and thanks for the opportunity to help,
Douglas Wade

Thanks Mike and Susan! Susan, I see that we both are interested in personal finance. May I make one suggestion about your blog? How about including an About Me page. I noticed that visitors to blogs like knowing who they are dealing with.

This bailout makes buying a home a little easier for those who are potential homeowners. No bailout means that this nation means that even more people will lose their homes. When people lose their homes at high rates the nation usually goes into a severe recession. Maybe a severe recession would in the good in the long run, in the VERY long run. That way the whole housing industry can be turned on its head, and fixed!

My main problem with the Federal Reserve is that they, lately, they been always behind the curve. I'm sick of the "rescue" plans that the Fed comes up with over the weekends.

This bailout of Freddie and Fannie is counterproductive. Another congressional initiative, the Mortgage Bailout, will tax Freddie and Fannie to the tune of $530 million/ YEAR. So Congress wants to bail out an institution and tax it as well? What’s going on? Call your senators/representatives and tell them: Back off the Mortgage Bailout Bill and Back off Bailing out Fannie and Freddie Mac!
